April and Chris,

I wanted to let both of you know how much I appreciate your time and effort the last couple days.  It’s not enough that you support the sport and our product the way you do but the effort you made to make Alex’s and my visit as enjoyable as it was goes far beyond any words that I can find.  I started waterskiing at the age of 12, only because we didn’t get our first boat until I was 11.  I’ve been blessed to be able to make a life out of what I love and that’s waterskiing.  I’m not sure if you truly understand what today meant to me but either way it would have never meant what it did to Alex if it wasn’t for the whole experience you provided.  On the way home he said repeatedly “ I can’t believe I got to learn how to ski with the best driver and the best skier in the world!”  He wants me to make sure I keep his Coble ski school shirt fresh because he’s wearing it to school on Monday!  Thank you so much for the time and care you put into making this special to Alex and myself. 

I also wanted to say the effort you’ve invested into your school is really obvious.  I’m sure nobody has any idea how much you’ve put into your school, but after spending the last few days with you I can honestly say there probably aren’t many people that go as hard as you two do.  I believe this is a memory that Alex and I will share together for a lifetime and it is all due to you and Chris.  Thank you so much for your hospitality, coaching, friendship and kindness.

Thanks for ANOTHER great year!

Phil, Ryan and Chris had a blast, I almost had as much fun listening to all the stories from the week on our 10.5 hour drive back (yes we went straight back to Avon, CT – quick stop at Cracker Barrel for sweet tea and biscuits!).  It’s awesome to see the friends they make (Eric from Chicago again this year) and keep. 

They won’t realize until much later how very special these memories are for them.

Looking forward to next year already.

Sorry I haven't e-mailed you sooner.  I want to thank you both for a wonderful time.  Amy and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at your ski school.  She is skiing getting better by the set.  Ending the week by watching you ski at the Global Invitational Tournament was the icing on the cake for her, and for me too!  

Kudos to you, your family, and your staff.  You all do a great job.  Since returning from your place, I have recommend Coble Ski School to everyone I've talked to.  We'll definitely be back.

April and Chris,

Just wanted to drop you an email to tell you about my experience at you school. I had a great time!  I'm sore and paying a small price this morning but that's because of age and being out of shape. My experience with your instructors was nothing but outstanding.   I'm a novice at wake boarding and was having trouble getting out of the water.  After the first set I believe the instructor spoke with you and it was agreed I would go to another lake and try some other techniques. As soon as that happened I got right up on the boom and short rope.  After the lunch break I went back to Lake 3 again and the next set I was up and out of the water.  I still need to work getting out of the water but your staff has put me on the road to developing the skills I need. I think it's important for the both of you as business owners to know how your staff represents you and your business. The three I came in contact with did an outstanding job. They certainly know there sport and how to work with people.  There excitement and enthusiasm about water sports clearly showed as we went through the day. 

In closing I'd like to say thanks again to your staff.  I have two small children and a wife that are avid water sports enthusiasts and with being 30 minutes away in Fuquay Varina I hope to get each of them to your school in the future.

To everybody at Coble Ski School,

Just want to say thanks to all of you for another great week. I had been looking forward to visiting again ever since I attended Spa Week last year. And of course I was not disappointed this year. Warm water, friendly and supportive atmosphere, great coaching, beautiful setting. It was nice to make new friends and meet up with some old ones. I really appreciate the encouraging, positive attitude at Coble, a big reason I keep coming back.

Thanks especially to those of you who worked with me personally this year, April, Tyler, Jason, Andy and Shelley. Thanks to all of you I achieved another personal best this year at camp. And thanks Shelley for taking some great pix of me water skiing. Now I can look at my pictures and remember my awesome week in NC. And when I show them to friends and family they want to know all about my week at camp and they ask questions like "Why would you travel all the way from WA to NC to water ski?" So I tell them. Several have expressed interest in coming along next time. :-)

Hey April!

Thanks again to you, Chris and the whole Coble team.  As I mentioned to you, you have done an excellent job with the hiring process. There is quality, friendliness and a “get ‘er done” attitude that pervades your team. I was coached by Shelly, Andy, Michaela, Ty and Ryan. I received excellent coaching by all.  I am especially impressed by the instruction from the Ty/Ryan team.  Those two really have a firm grasp of slalom theory, and conveyed that knowledge in an easy to understand way.  Ty was really good at focusing in on correcting my most glaring problems and not worrying too much about my more nuanced issues.  I am sure I provide a challenging problem to any instructor:  What do you fix first?  Ty aced the test.

Anyway thanks again, and look forward to the fall.

Hi April,

I wanted to thank you for the great week I had at camp this past week.  Often times, someone of your caliber is associated with a ski school in name only, having limited actual interaction with the students.  On the contrary, you were right there with us every step of the way, whether it was leading us in a morning game of knockout (basketball) to get the blood flowing, giving us individual ski instruction from the back of the boat, pitching in with meal preparation, or even driving us all out for ice cream in a 20+ year old school bus!  You went out of your way to ensure that each and every one of us had a great stay, regardless of our age, background, or ability level.  Further, it is clear that you have instilled your values in your staff as well.  Every one of them was an absolute pleasure.  I can't think of a better way to have celebrated my 50th birthday!

Thank you so much for hosting the wonderful clinic for women.  It was so heart-warming to be around a group of ladies who love the sport and who are so talented in other areas too.  The energy was incredible and that has a lot to do with how you run the school and the hospitality granted to us.  What a blast to go to camp and play, dance, and romp in the outdoors again!

Hello April and rest of the gang,

Our son Jai attended your camp for 2 consecutive weeks in August. He has always loved water sports, however his confidence level was pretty low. We aren't great skiers and weren't able to give him the encouragement  or instruction he needed. I am writing this email to let you know that he has exceled far beyond our expectations, moreover his confidence has improved a great deal. He really enjoyed his time with all of you and speaks of it constantly.

I am a weak skier myself with even worse confidence than Jai. Our whole family hopes to attend next year and get some of that awesome instruction Jai keeps talking about.  Thanks again.

Dear April and Chris,

We can't tell you enough what a fantastic time we all had at your camp.  The girls just didn't want to leave!  (I guess we will have to plan another trip in the very near future!)  I can't believe the progress each of the girls has made in just two short days!  Joanna got up on one ski for the first time; Danielle got up using regular skis instead of training skis for the first time; Summer learned to play in the water with her vest on by HERSELF for the first time; and, the highlight of the whole trip, she also got to ski with you, April!   We can only imagine how much more progress they each would have made if we had more time with you!  Ray Newmark, one of the guests at your camp, was kind enough to video Summer skiing with you, and he emailed us a copy on you tube!  It is FANTASTIC!  We are so thankful to him for doing it!  However, my favorite picture is the one I attached to this email.  You and Summer are both wearing the most beautiful smiles!  This picture in my opinion, is the epitome of "OMG fun".  It is our new wallpaper on our computer!  Every time I look at it, I smile.  Summer enjoyed it SO much!  Thanks to you, she had the experience of a lifetime! We hope you enjoy the picture too! Again, thank you for making our family vacation one we'll cherish forever.  Your kindness and hospitality will never be forgotten.  You truly are unforgettable people and we are grateful to have met you!
